Today it’s Mother’s Day, and last year I wrote a poem called M&S Bouquet (you might remember it, but chances are that you won’t.) Well this year I’m too lazy to write another (sorry Mom!) but I still want to share one, so here’s the one on the Mother’s Day card I bought this year.
And no, I went with chocolates rather than the bouquet this year.
You taught me how to wash my face,
And how to use the potty.
You made me eat up all my greens,
And wiped my nose when snotty.
You taught me to be nice and kind,
And even to be funny.
You taught me to say ‘Please’ and ‘Thanks’
So ‘please; can I borrow some money? Thanks.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
